Located in the laid-back surf and skate town of South Oceanside, this 1950s beach bungalow was completely reimagined into a high-contrast coastal retreat. The once-muted exterior now stands bold in black, accented with charred wood and smooth stucco, and grounded by stone and lush tropical greens. Inside, light floods through airy spaces layered with warm woods, soft plaster, and handcrafted zellige tile. Spa-like bathrooms, custom furniture, and vintage sea-inspired art - paired with surf photography by the designer’s husband - bring soul and storytelling to the space. An outdoor surf shower completes the laid-back coastal rhythm, creating a home that feels timeless, relaxed, and effortlessly California cool.
